Big Bear Choppers Motorcycle Women's

Big Bear Choppers is a motorcycle company based in San Bernardino, California that specializes in the manufacturing of custom choppers, Pro Street motorcycles, and performance parts for Harley Davidson. Kevin and Mona Alsop opened their small chopper shop in 1998 in Big Bear Lake, California, and started building their reputation ever since. Thanks to the company’s high standards in both design and quality, Big Bear Choppers (BBC) grew from a small repair shop into one of the most respected manufacturers of factory-custom motorcycles and related components. In 2011, the company was acquired by Simon Scott, the owner of Rage Hard Choppers. After that, Kevin Alsop stayed at the firm to work as a head designer.

Bib Bear Chopper is proud to offer only high-quality products, which is accomplished thanks to the fact that the majority of components are designed and manufactured in-house. The company’s specialists build custom fenders, tanks, handlebars, foot controls, front-ends, mirrors, primary drives, pop-up gas caps, and much more. The Discovery Channel recognized the firm’s achievements, and in 2006, the founder of Big Bear Choppers was invited as a contestant in the television series “Biker Build-Off.” Kevin Alsop won by building a stretched heavy chopper that included exclusive custom Devil’s Tail swingarm, designed and patented by Big Bear Choppers and matching the rear fender.

Eventually, the model, featured on the TV-show, named “Athena,” was added to BBC fleet and became available for purchase as an unassembled kit. The chopper is powered by an 1819 cc, BBC-S&S V111 Carb Evolution engine producing 116 hp coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The unique sound and carburetor feel are favored by old-school riders. The same engine is used in the Venom, the flagship model offered by Big Bear Choppers. The motorcycle features simple but stylish, smooth-lined design, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, pull-back handlebars and lowered seat. The Sled – another popular model by Big Bear Choppers equipped with an 1819 cc 116 hp powerplant with an S&S Super E carburetor features a wide 300 mm (11.8-inches) rear tire, stretched frame, and chromed front end. Another popular model, the Devil’s Advocate is preferred by many for its exceptional maneuverability and chrome decorations.
